← Resources Library | Certification & networks
Astrotourism is organised through a few large international networks, and knowing which one a territory belongs to matters for both credibility and funding. The two most relevant here are the Starlight certification system (reserves, tourist destinations, villages and cities, rural hotels, stellar parks, stellariums, wilderness and camps) and the IAU Office of Astronomy for Development flagship, which works through regional offices and communities of practice rather than through certification. This page collects the entry points to both.
